At Mansfield Cash Registers, our team are there to support our products. We have extensive knowledge for cash registers & touch screens.
We provide telephone support for our products 9am until 5pm – Monday to Friday, we will always aim to return your call with-in 1 hour of making us aware you have an issue, and also have an out of hours emergency service for maintained contract customers. If your equipment is connected to your broadband, it may be possible to offer remote support to deal with queries, updates and programming issues.
We will also attempt to help with cash registers and Casio EPOS systems not originally supplied by The New Mansfield Cash Registers if purchased before September 2024 although there may be a charge.
We will make every effort to solve your problem or query remotely or over the phone. However, if you require a call out for one of our team to attend your premises, rates are based on a 5 mile travel distance from Mansfield Town Centre and start from £45 plus VAT for the first hour and then £30 plus vat for each hour after. Any distance past the 5 mile travel radius from Mansfield Town Centre where it will take more than 1 hour to reach your premises will incur a travelling premium of £45 plus VAT, and our call fee of £45 plus VAT for the first hour and £30 plus VAT for every hour it takes to complete your service. Where possible a loan machine will be offered free of charge if it is necessary to take your equipment back to our workshop. Please note we cannot always guarantee this machine will be of equal technology to your current machine and may be a simple push button cash register.
Rental Equipment
All of our rental contracts include maintenance, telephone and remote support for the term of the contract. Any reasonable repair will conducted as long as the equipment has been looked after and does not show signs of wilful damage. Where it is clear that equipment has been damaged wilfully charges may apply.
Maintenance | Telephone & Remote Support Contracts
Before the expiry of the period of support on your cash register or EPOS system, we will send you, subject to our discretion, an email letter offering you a maintenance contract and/or a telephone support contract.
If you would like support and you do not currently have a contract or the equipment is not under guarantee, please contact us. If you would like a maintenance contract on your equipment and it has been some time since your guarantee expired or the equipment was originally purchased from Mansfield Cash Registers before September 2024, we may at our discretion have to make an inspection of the equipment first. This will involve a call out charge and, if necessary of how much it will cost to bring the equipment up to the standard required for us to offer a maintenance contract.
Equipment Only Purchase
You may be familiar with your purchase and not need our assistance, but we understand that things can sometimes go wrong. If you encounter any issues during our office hours, please don’t hesitate to give us a call, and we’ll always do our best to help you. When you make a purchase, we’ll inform you of your guarantee period. However, please note that we cannot be held responsible for errors made by others. If we are required to make repairs, programming updates, firmware, or software fixes due to human error, charges will be based on the amount of work involved. Additionally, if we need to come to your venue, call-out charges will apply.
For any equipment purchased before September 2024, unfortunately we are unable to support these machines without a maintenance contract. Should you wish to add a maintenance contract please contact us.
